Every organization is an ecosystem.
We build the conditions where people, teams, and performance thrive. For leaders of $10M+ organizations who need an accurate read on what is actually broken, and a partner with the tools, teams, and AI to fix it. Leadership sets the climate. We help you get it right.
Culture, systems, and doctoral rigor, engineered with agentic AI into one operating system, so your organization runs sharper and stays human at the center.
An organization takes on the behavior of the people who lead it.
Within roughly eighteen months to three years, structure and process reorganize around what the executive team actually does, and around who gets rewarded or corrected for doing things differently. In an ecosystem, nothing thrives without the right conditions, and someone has to tend them. Leadership is that caretaker. Our Cultural Intelligence (CQ) framework makes the conditions visible and measurable, so you can adjust the cause instead of managing the symptom.
Leadership CQ
The behavioral identity of the people at the top. The caretaker that sets the climate for everything else.
Procedural CQ
How work, decisions, and communication actually flow, once the slides are put away.
Structural CQ
Who holds power, who gets rewarded, and who quietly pays the belonging tax.
One partner across the whole system.
We work the full employee lifecycle, from the boardroom to onboarding, and we bring the tools, teams, and AI to implement, not only advise.
Organizational development & culture strategy
Aligning structure, systems, and people around a shared vision, so the whole organization pulls in one direction.
Coaching & management training
Executive coaching and practical management development that build leaders who perform and teams that follow.
Assessment, diagnostics & research
Over 50 proprietary, psychometrically validated instruments, plus focus groups and R&D, to surface what is really happening and disaggregate the truth.
Applied AI: workflows & custom apps
We implement AI workflows and build custom applications that fix specific organizational problems, responsibly.
Board, executive & succession
Retreats, team development, and succession planning that strengthen governance and protect leadership continuity.
HR & people operations
Hands-on support across hiring, onboarding, and the systems that keep culture healthy day to day.
Every engagement begins with a diagnosis, not a pitch.
Read the system
A structured assessment of leadership, communication, and structure, run through the CQ diagnostics rather than a survey template.
Disaggregate the truth
An organization-wide health report. We disaggregate the data instead of averaging it, so real signal is not lost in the mean.
90-day plan
A focused roadmap with immediate moves and long-term direction, sequenced to move at the speed of trust and psychological safety.
An agentic AI that works inside your organization.
We are building a system your people can talk to. It understands your organization, surfaces what is breaking, and acts on it. Agentic at its core, grounded in the same frameworks and diagnostics we use by hand, so the intelligence is yours, not a generic chatbot bolted on the side.
Built in-house, not bought. Dr. Otaola designs and builds these tools himself, pairing the firm's frameworks with formal computer-science and applied-AI training and a decade founding a web and software company.
Field notes on leadership, culture, and applied AI.
Leaders keep the language long after we leave.
“Thriving Culture didn’t just give us a plan, they gave us language. Our leadership team now talks about trust and accountability with clarity instead of tension.”
“Dr. Pablo and his team created space for hard truths while keeping everyone focused on the mission. They turned a painful transition into a turning point.”
“I measure success by retention, engagement, and leadership readiness. We improved in all three. Their approach connected our values to daily operations in a measurable way.”
“The blend of science, empathy, and structure was extraordinary. They understand the complexity of leading humans and systems at scale, and they made it feel doable.”
Dr. Pablo Otaola
Pablo founded Thriving Culture after twenty-two years of organizational development and leadership, including building and scaling one of the largest field operations in his national network. He learned how culture forms at scale before he framed it into a method.
He holds a doctorate in organizational change and leadership from USC. He advises chief executives and their boards, most often as a fractional chief people officer to organizations in growth or transition, working in English and Spanish from Barcelona with teams across the United States and beyond.
His practice blends behavioral and organizational psychology, cross-cultural theory, and adult-learning science. The assessment tools behind it are his own, psychometrically validated through his doctoral research and refined with a bench of doctoral collaborators, so the numbers your leaders see are real measurement, not another opinion survey.
He also brings something most advisors outsource. Pablo designs and builds the firm's AI tools and automations himself, with formal training in computer science and applied AI and a decade founding and running a web and software company before he turned to organizational leadership. The result is work that is both humane and measurable, and technology that is genuinely yours.
